Ellis Fairbank’s Corporate Services practice is a unique business unit dedicated to introducing and facilitating acquisition and disposal opportunities for both companies and individuals, broadly split into three sub-divisions: 

  • Acquisition Targeting - dealing with our Corporate clients looking for acquisition opportunities
  • Corporate Disposals - concentrated on providing successful succession planning and execution to a wide variety of small and medium sized  independent businesses
  • The MBI Programme - regarded by many as the industry’s most comprehensive service for private individuals looking to make the transition from corporate life to running their own established business

Key to our success has been the relationship between, and integration of, traditional corporate finance skills, and the research and HR techniques customarily found in a leading search and selection house.

Between our dedicated in-house Corporate Services team and our unique relationships with much of the Corporate Finance community (covering a number of leading Corporate Advisories, Venture Capitalists, Banks and Legal Houses) we are able to offer a complete end-to-end service encompassing every element of the acquisition or disposal process from inception to completion.

We are a business that has been sourcing opportunities and affecting successful introductions between individuals and companies from an employment context for over 15 years.  We believe that this skill set – finding and matching the component parts to produce business benefit – is one that is under-developed by the Buy-In and Buy-Out market.  We have proved that our capabilities in the research, identification and targeted approach of businesses can generate unique pre-market prospects encompassing both buy-side and sell-side deals exclusively.

We believe that this is because the most valuable potential matches are rarely advertised, and therefore need to be sourced and approached directly.  This is why very few of the deals we do ever become public knowledge until after completion which means that we rarely run into competitor bids, resulting in a higher percentage of completions from offer for our clients than through advertised opportunities.
